I am a 26-year-old Italian. I've spent six years in Edinburgh, Scotland and, after graduating from university, I moved to New Zealand, where I spent one year. I'm gonna miss this beautiful country and its beautiful people so much but I am so very excited to move to Australia, looking for interesting conversations and ready to learn new things!
I've spent the last year in Wellington and have been loving the city life so I'm moving to Melbourne to find a job. But I'd like to relax and take some time to meet people and create connections before that.
I like life in the city but I also love nature and love spending time in beautiful green spaces. I definitely enjoy a break from busy crowds. I am looking forward to exploring everything Melbourne has to offer though!
I love cooking! I think of myself as a good cook, I would always cook for my friends and host big dinner parties as I enjoy cooking for others too. I am a vegetarian and do love fruit and vegetables more than anything.
Having graduated from a sociology-oriented discipline, I am fascinated by people. I am an easy-going, sociable individual. I like talking to people, meeting new faces. If you also like to skip formalities, I'm your guy. I am up for having fun but I also appreciate spending time by myself. I like peace and quiet and I do respect it when one needs space.
I also love reading, I love books and I love talking about books!
I have worked mainly in bars for the majority of four years. I enjoyed the environment and it has taught me a lot about people.
I have only worked through Workaway once before and I was so lucky to have met such wonderful people who took good care of me. I'm looking forward to a new adventure.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have spent years in the hospitality/customer care industry, hence I have learnt to be comfortable around people. I can offer any type of service work and would be delighted to! During these years I have also held supervisor positions so I have no problem in taking up some managerial tasks.
Apart from being a general animal lover, I have often used BorrowMyDoggy - a website designed for dog owners and borrowers to meet. Through this, I have spent a lot of my time looking after dogs, full time also. It's not just dogs I like tho, but every creature and am ready to give them all of my love.
Being in university, I've spent the majority of four years dealing with computers and such so I can say I have a pretty good knowledge of technology.
I like plants and know how to more or less take care of them.
In general, I am always up for helping out.

Was noch ...

I spend most of my time reading books. I love playing cards and board games, doing puzzles and crosswords. I enjoy a good hike and am always interested in seeing the natural spots around the location I'm in. Love a walk, love a chat. I like sitting around with people and having a glass of wine, beer or just coffee. I like watching movies; I've been trying to catch up on all the classics/must-watch, but am also into chick flicks and sitcoms.
