Beschreibung

Hey there,
we are Adina, Tim and Mina and we are currently traveling the world during our sabbatical. At home in Germany we are working in schools. Adina is a rehabilitation pedagogue and special school teacher and I am a high school teacher for Biology and History. Our five-year-old daughter Mina is a very calm and uncomplicated child. At the age of five, she has already traveled to 16 countries, which makes her a very open-minded and interested girl. She loves to play with other children. Because Mina will go to school next year, we take a break for a big family adventure and now we travelling the world during our sabaticcal.
During our time as a couple, we have traveled a lot and know that traveling means more than just working off the lonely planet bucket list. At the same time, traveling with a five-year-old child has to be approached a little differently and so we would like to immerse ourselves more deeply in the different cultures, stay for a while, experience the everyday life of our host country and experience a decelerated but all the more valuable travel through workaway.
As qualified teachers and parents, we naturally have experience with children, but we can also contribute a great deal of passion and expertise in other areas. We have a passion for music and play a few instruments (guitar, piano, drums) and Tim has some experience in music production software (Ableton) and home recording and is a DJ in his spare time. We also love to work on small DIY-projects at home in our apartment and are both not untalented craftsmen. We also live out these passions in our artist collective. This is a group of musicians, deejays, craftsmans and artists which all knew from school times. We organise art and music festivals in rural areas to support this reegions and create freerooms. We construct wooden dancefloors and lightinstallations, selling selfmade waffles, playing electronic dance music, invite bands and celebrate new and old friendships.
Another hobby is filming, flying a drone and photographing as well as writing stories. Apart from that, we are a normal German family. Tim is cooking and doing the work in the kitchen and Adina does the housework, while our daughter Mina loves to draw pictures or play outside in the garden.
