Hi there,
We are Léa (31) and Tomasz (26), a French couple currently living in Berlin, Germany. We’re excited to embark on a journey through warm regions in Europe and the Maghreb this February and March. We’ll be traveling mostly by foot and boat. We’re looking for opportunities where we can get our hands dirty and contribute to meaningful activities like gardening, planting, building, or caring for animals. We're also eager to immerse ourselves in nature, explore new cultures, meet new people, have meaningful conversations, learn new skills, and discover lesser-known parts of the world.
We both have hands-on experience with gardening, small construction projects, and taking care of animals, though we're not professionals :) We’re comfortable working outdoors, managing tasks like harvesting, planting, and basic building projects, and we enjoy being part of the process from start to finish.
Tomasz has done several Workaways before, so he’s familiar with the rhythm of this kind of exchange. He loves being outdoors, and when not working, you’ll likely find him hiking, swimming, or enjoying deep conversations about social topics. Tomasz is fluent in French, German, Polish, and English.
Léa, while new to Workaway, has a strong enthusiasm for learning languages and cultures—she speaks French, German, Italian, English, and even a little Chinese and Polish! She loves drawing, painting, and cooking, and she’s always up for a challenge when it comes to construction, gardening or working with animals.
Both of us have worked in intercultural settings, so we understand the importance of communication and adapting to new environments.
We’re ready to contribute, learn, and grow, and we’d love to share our energy and enthusiasm with you :)
