Beschreibung

We are Thibault and Estelle, a Belgian couple taking a year off to travel, discover new cultures and experience life in a different way.

What motivates us most is meeting people, sharing simple moments and learning from others. We love discovering local ways of life, trying new things, cooking, being outdoors and, above all, creating genuine connections along the way.

We are happiest when we are doing something together, whether it’s helping out, having a good laugh around a meal, exploring a new place or simply sharing stories with people from different backgrounds.

For us, Workaway is not just about finding a place to stay. We want to be useful, learn new skills, contribute to the projects we join and become part of the daily life of our hosts, even if only for a short time.

We are curious, easy-going and always ready for a new adventure! 😊

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We are both very hands-on, curious and adaptable, and we enjoy learning new skills along the way.

We have experience with cooking, gardening, outdoor work, cleaning and everyday household tasks. We are not afraid of getting our hands dirty and are happy to help with physical work when needed.

Thibaut has experience in beekeeping, as well as theatre, comedy and working with people. He enjoys sports, music and creating videos and content.

Estelle is a trained primary school teacher and loves working with children. She also enjoys singing and music, creative activities, cooking and taking care of animals.

We are both reliable, motivated and willing to learn. We don't expect to know everything before arriving — we are happy to be taught and to give our best to contribute to our hosts' projects.

Was noch ...

Outside of work and travelling, we love music, cooking, sports and spending time outdoors.
We both enjoy singing and discovering new music, and we are always happy to share a song or join a musical moment. We also love board games, card games and having a good laugh together.
We are curious about different cultures and love trying local food, meeting new people and discovering the little things that make each place unique.
We are also big fans of simple moments: sharing a meal, having a drink, playing a game, going for a walk or sitting around a campfire and talking for hours.
And of course, we are always ready to learn something new — whether it's a new recipe, a new skill, a new game or something completely unexpected! 😊
