Hi !

My name is Timothée, I'm 26 years old.

MY LIFE IN 30 SECONDS :
I grew up in a small village located in the south of France. After high school I passed successfully the first two years of engineering school but then I decided to stop it because I realized that it wasn't for me. So I decided to take a gap year in order to take some time and think about my future. It ended up being a two years break during which I had so many different experience as living in a nomadic family in Mongolia, crossing the Atlantic ocean on a sailing boat or hitchhiking 5 000 km in the USA. Then I realized school was maybe not that useless. I spend the next three years studying business engineering. After my graduation in November 2023, I decided to travel again. I left France with my 200$ bicycle and I cycled till Istanbul. I then spent time in India, Sri Lanka and Nepal. In June I paddled a part of the Mekong for 3 weeks on a cheap inflatable kayak.

WHY I'M ON WORKAWAY :
Now, I’m getting more and more interested in the off the grid lifestyle (I also lived six months in my DIY van), and I would like to meet people who are living this kind of life. When I'll be back to France, I would love to create a self-sufficient farm and host workawayers. The best way to do so is to get inspired by amazing persons who are living a similar life. That’s why I registered on Workaway.

UPDATE nov 2023 : I'm now back home and still keen to meet new people and travel in my home country : France .

Since I was young, I spend a big part of my free time to tinkering things. I’m curious, creative and I enjoy learning new skills. I’m able to work hard, and I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty. I learn quickly, so all jobs are welcome!
