Hi there, my name is Patrick! I'm 28 years old, born and raised in Germany and my dream is to travel the world.
After a long period of uncertainty about what I wanted to do professionally and in my future, and after a resulting difficult mental phase, I am finally feeling well again and motivated to pursue my dream.

I want to go out into the world and discover new places, meet people, get to know new cultures and have many unforgettable experiences!
Workaway seems like the perfect way to combine all these things. I haven't set a time limit for my journey and will go with the flow - when, for how long and where it takes me.

My friends would call me a very open-minded, empathetic and reliable person. Also, I would say about myself that I am very solution-oriented: If there's a problem, there's a way to solve it!
In my free time, I like to play table-tennis, build with Lego, paint or draw, and visit museums. Since my hobbies tend to change a lot over time, I'm always open to trying new things.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I’ve picked up quite a few useful skills over the years! I’m happy to help around the house with general chores or repairs, and I’ve been involved in various DIY and renovation projects – including working with wood, painting, and small construction tasks. I really enjoy creating things with my hands and seeing progress in practical work.

I also have some gardening experience and don’t mind getting my hands dirty – whether it’s mowing, planting, or just tidying up the outdoor space. On the tech side, I’m pretty good with computers and internet setups, and I used to run a small online bookshop, so I’m familiar with online platforms, organizing stock, and handling customer requests.

Overall, I’d say I’m a quick learner and open to pretty much anything. I enjoy trying out new things, working in a team or independently, and always bring a positive attitude and curiosity with me.

Was noch ...

I love the sea and could listen to the sound of the waves for hours on end. Maybe one day I’ll find a place to call my own – and I’m pretty sure it will be somewhere near the ocean.
