Hi there,
As a 30-year-old Hungarian girl, I decided to take a career break and explore alternative ways of living for some months, particularly in Iceland, Norway, or other Nordic countries.
I’m excited to leave the comfort of my office desk and learn new skills. I can easily imagine having a temporary home in a peaceful environment, surrounded by nature and animals. A nearby forest and mountains would be a big plus!
Do you need help with your farm, garden, hostel, home, or any other dream project you may have? I would be more than happy to lend a hand and learn from you. 😊

Some words about me:
• Always smiling: Although I'm a deep thinker, I’m usually known for my big smile and sparkling eyes.
• Hiking lover: I’m addicted to wandering in nature and have some experience in wild camping.
• Language nerd: I speak English, Spanish, and Hungarian, but I’ve also learned some Portuguese and French – I’d love to add your language to this list!
• Hobby writer and book lover: I love good stories and philosophizing about all aspects of life with my boyfriend, friends, and even strangers. I’m always up for long, deep conversations.
• Aerial girl: I’ve been practicing aerial sports for three years, which has made me considerably stronger and more flexible.

How did I end up in Workaway?

Growing up in Budapest, Hungary's lively and beautiful capital, and working for multinational companies in the past few years, I got used to rushing through my life. Just one more day of overtime, one more urgent project, one more event to attend. All these promises I couldn’t keep made me feel stuck and burnt out, struggling to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I dreamed of doing something that was dear to me, leaving my comfort zone, and working hard to make a real impact.
I’ve always loved leaving the city life behind and escaping to nature – setting up a tent in the middle of nowhere and listening to the sound of the deep forest at night. A more peaceful and meaningful life has been constantly calling me. Am I brave enough to listen to this call?
I strongly believe that signing up for Workaway was the first step. Would you like to join me for the next one?

I'd be excited to learn a new language and would probably start a Duolingo course before visiting a new host. I have experience in teaching Spanish and Hungarian from the basics and tutoring children in English. In addition, I have a professional background in translation, interpreting, and applied linguistics.

Professional skills

• Language teaching: As an experienced translator, interpreter, and language teacher who speaks Hungarian, English, and Spanish at a native or advanced level, I’d be more than happy to help you improve your language skills.
• Copywriting: Do you need support with updating your website content or Workaway profile? Need a hand to craft effective emails and social media posts? I’m here to help! I’ve been working as a marketing copywriter for three years.

Although I don’t have any previous experience, I’m particularly interested in gardening, animal care (goats, sheep, cows, chickens, dogs, etc.), and farm life in general. I’d need your support and patience to get the hang of these tasks, but I’m willing to get my hands dirty to learn these new skills! 😊

I’d also be happy to take part in DIY and building tasks if needed. I’m used to working in an office environment, but I’m quite strong and in a good shape thanks to practicing aerial silk. If you don't know what that is, check out my photos!

Last but not least, I’d be glad to cook some traditional Hungarian dishes for you!

Was noch ...

Please note that I don't smoke normal cigarettes as I have a special device called IQOS, which does not produce real smoke. I only smoke in the evenings and during weekends. As I don't want to be dependent on this habit in the long run, I've been thinking more and more about quitting - perhaps getting away from my stressful lifestyle could help me reinforce this commitment. :)
