Hello:) We are Sina, Anna and Sarah,
All of us love to go on adventures, meet new people and collect new experiences. Below, we will all be introducing ourselves a bit!

Hey:) I am Sina. I am 24 years old.
I love to travel around the world and explore other cultures, languages and ways of living. That's why I prefer to visit less touristic places to get an authentic impression of the country, its people and their culture.
I am very curious and always interested exploring and learning new things.
Besides traveling I've just graduated in occupational therapy. This job is very multi-faced. I am working with individuals of all ages facing emotional, physical, cognitive, mental or social challenges that interfere with their ability to engage in daily activities. My job is supporting them to overcome those challenges or find ways to manage their daily life on their own despite them.
In my free time I enjoy it to be outdoors in the nature, be it hiking, skiing, canyoning, diving or just relaxing. I also love to cook, preferably with self-planted vegetables or herbs from the garden.

Hey:) I am Anna. I am 23 years old.
I have a wide range of hobbies and interests. As well as I like to be in movement by dancing contemporary or bouldering, jogging or going on hikes, I also enjoy reading and listening to podcasts, for example about climate change, sustainability and environmental conservation. Until now, I don't have so much practical experience in this area, but I would like to stop sitting on the couch learning passively and start getting active. Workaways that deal with this kind of matter would be perfect for me.
At the moment I'm working as a pediatric nurse and like my job very much, but I'm aiming to start university to study environmental sciences.

Hey:) I am Sarah. I am 23 years old.
I'm currently studying biology, focusing on botany and ecology. Also outside of the university, I love spending time in nature, for example on long hikes, camping or just stargazing. That is also something I would value in a workaway experience, to be outside and interact with plants and animals, while sharing those experiences with other people and learning something new every day.
Besides all that, I love books and drawing, I've recently discovered kickboxing, I enjoy cooking, swimming, riding my bike and backpacking around the world.

I am really interested in learning new languages and I think the best way to learn it is being or living with native speakers and in practical use. I also love to teach my mother tongue german or some basic english.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Occupation: Occupational Therapist and paramedic.

I ´ve just gratuated in occupational therapy. During my studies I had a full year of practical working. Before and during my studies I also worked at the ambulance as paramemic. So I can tell that I catched some experience working and supporting diffrent kind of people with diffrent kind of issuses they have to face.
After finishing school at age 18 I lived in Bangkok, Thailand for one year. There I volunteered at a primary school (inspired from the `Waldorf padagogy) and teached the kids in english and dancing there.
Due to working at a ´Woldorf` inspired school and also as an occupational therapist I am used in several creative and craft-based tasks. (from sewing and crocheting, basket waving, pottery or working with wood.)

Besides travelling and exploring the world I love gardening and cooking and beeing in the nature in my freetime.

I volunteer for `Tussiima Nawanyago', a small organization that supports a region in Uganda. This includes a small hospital, in which I helped for a month 2 years ago. In March this year I plan to go there again.
