Hi! I'm Shara and I'm from Australia, I'm 19 years old and taking a gap year to travel the world - which has been my dream for the longest time.

For as long as I can remember I have dreamed of travelling and seeing more of the beautiful earth that we live on. In 2020 I almost fulfilled this dream by applying for and being accepted to take part in a student exchange, although this fell through with the introduction of COVID. I was crushed at the time but am now even more excited to have the chance to travel and experience all the the world has to offer!

Prioritising my mental health is a huge part of my life, because of this, I find that journaling, meditation, being in nature, dancing around and practicing gratitude for all of the blessings in my life brings me so much joy.

My dad nicknamed me 'tender heart' at a very young age, poking fun at my sensitivity and deep care for all living things. I always aim to lead with love and inject positivity and kindness into any environment or situation. I am a responsible, open minded and kind hearted girl who is ready to experience anything!

I love to truly connect with those around me, and would love to continue making these connections all across the world while I travel.

I can't wait to meet so many beautiful souls, hear your stories and share the most incredible experiences with you!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have grown up surrounded and loved by little ones, and have been trusted to mind the kids/babies of many local families. I adore children and find that my kind and gentle nature is perfect for working with them.

I have cooked dinner for my family once a week for years now, and as I love to cook and bake for my loved ones - this is often a highlight of my week. The meals that I make are often vegetarian but I am also able to create meat based dishes as well. I would love to share these meals with you and am MORE than happy to help out in the kitchen :)

I have worked as a cleaner for a local caravan park over the peak season, and am currently working in both the kitchen/bistro area as a kitchen hand and waitress, and the bar/gaming area as a bartender and gaming attendant at a local community club. I began this job in March 2021 so have plenty of hospitality experience and can provide a reference for this job if you wish!
