Hello! I’m Alex from Latvia, living in Scotland. Currently traveling India and soon Southeast Asia, exploring art, cool places, and meeting people. Always up for new connections and future adventures!

Beschreibung

Originally from Latvia, I’ve spent the last 15 years in the UK, primarily in Scotland, where I’ve worked across various roles and developed a passion for both social work and art. Most recently, I worked as a social worker in Edinburgh, gaining valuable experience in supporting communities and individuals. Additionally, I’ve participated in art projects in both Thailand and Scotland, allowing me to merge my creative pursuits with my professional experience.

In my hometown of Edinburgh, I also worked as a coffee roaster at Artisan Roast, a renowned coffee company. My work involved on coffee roasting, designing packaging, and training baristas and coffee roasters. This experience deepened my commitment to quality, attention to detail, and the importance of connection through shared experiences.

Previous volunteering experience include I spent a month in Poland supporting Ukrainian refugees in Warsaw, working on my own art projects while volunteering at Chateau Chapiteau, a forest hotel and organic farm community in Georgia, where I assist with building projects and art installations in the surrounding forest, teaching children to English language in Thailand and helping at local coffee shop and coffee roastery

I have also volunteered in Spain, helping to construct a recovery center for individuals overcoming abuse or addiction, and in Spoleto, Italy, where I contributed to the harvest at an organic olive farm.

In my spare time, I create digital art on my iPad and am actively promoting my art on Instagram. I’m approachable, adaptable, and enjoy working autonomously or as part of a team, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
