I just quit my job as a copywriter to spend my summer outdoors. When I told my team of 40 colleagues that I was leaving my full-time job behind to better myself and seek new adventures, all I could bring out of nervousness was: I have better things to do... hopefully I will end up being right about that!
The year so far:

* 1 month in Toulouse for the kickstart in french (language school).

* 3 weeks on a small farm / cultural institution near Rennes. There I primarily helped with the preparations for two typical breton musical events.

* a weekend helping with the restoration of a traditional Norwegian sailing boat.

* 3 weeks preparation work for a festival in the Pyrenees.

* 2 weeks of vine harvest in the Bourgogne

* since October I study Industrial Design in Vienna.

The main reason why I'm going abroad is to work on my language skills , because I don’t want it to fade away while I’m not practicing enough in my everyday life. Of course, I'm also open to teaching some German or English.

I don't whine about work, I independently look for ways to make myself useful and I finish my plate.

As a child from a village, I' m not afraid to get my hands dirty. Gardening and caring for animals are not new to me, as there was always something to do in our garden and with our chickens and ducks. I also know how to help myself with my handicrafts, but I' m very open to learning a lot more here. How I turn out artistically is up to you, but it's great fun. During my school years, I worked for 3 years in an art school with children. I liked the work so much that I also helped teach the little ones how to swim in my swimming club.
I am also willing to do household, kitchen and catering tasks and I have experience from numerous summer jobs in the event sector.
My most qualified skills, are perhaps writing, conceptualising ideas and the know-how about marketing and social media through my training as a creative conceptionist and my almost 2 years of professional experience as a copywriter in an advertising agency.

Was noch ...

I'm a fan of a good mix of enjoying good company and spending time by myself, being active (i love to hike and swim) and lazing around with a good book in my hand. But i'm especially looking forward to the new mix of new impressions and getting involved in exciting projects.
