Beschreibung

Hi All,

My name is Romane, I am a 35 years old French girl, really keen to travel anywhere in the world. I have started my visa in Canada in August 2023, i am currently in BC and will shortly make my way towards Yukon. I am hoping to find a ride early May to get to Whitehorse. If you are going this way let me know !

I have spent 3 years in Australia as a backpacker and also a year in New Zealand (before that I studied and worked full time for 5 years).
I obviously love travelling, discovering new places and meeting interesting people with different backgrounds. I would describe myself as positive, easygoing, social at times but also enjoying time and space on my own. I am respectful and trustworthy.
I like to be surrounded by fun people !

Here are a few things I enjoy, apart from traveling :
- Anything related or close to the ocean, like surfing (still learning or trying to) and any water activities, sailing, swimming, diving (I only got my open water, so not a pro) and just started freediving in Costa Rica, to name a few
- Hiking and walking in general, anywhere with a good view, surrounded by mountains and ocean ideally. Multi-days hikes also interest me.
- Food, wine and beers.
- Being active, on the move, having new projects, feeling like I am learning something new or doing something interesting.
- Creative 'things', it is a bit vague but I think I would enjoy spending time on creative/arty projects. I have done a bit of pottery and really enjoyed it, also tried sewing/creating clothes, still lots to learn but also very enjoyable for me, would love to learn how to draw also, make my own surfboard one day... Some ideas I have in mind at the moment.
- Also, quite happy to just chill, listen to music, read a book, practise yoga...

I speak French, English, and also a bit of Spanish.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

My studies background is business, and I worked 6 years in an office as a Business Manager for a swimsuit and lingerie brand, so can help with administration, sending emails ... I am also interested in Design and Decoration.

During my travels, I worked in Hospitality : as a waitress, all rounder, a bit in housekeeping (although not my favorite activity), making coffees, restocking...
I also worked in farms, vineyards and wineries (picking, packing, thinning... and also as a cellar hand). I have my WEST 2 and 3.

I would be happy to learn sewing as well, happy to paint...

Also, I grew up on an island, so I am quite confident in the water. I have my boat ticket, I rarely use it but would love to.

I enjoy reading when I find a book that appeals to me, also enjoy playing games, listening to music...
