Vom Workawayer () für Host (Reconnect with nature in this ...)

Hi Ricardo, Apologies for our late feedback.

We stayed 2 weeks in this place ( March 2021)
Location: The view is priceless! a perfect incredible sunset in front of Siera Nevada. There is a river and waterfall nearby. If you want fresh and cold water, it's just a 5minutes walk.
Accommodation: That time we stayed in a huge comfortable Tent, we… read more have our own bathroom, Shower, and mini kitchen. You wake up to the sound of the birds chirping on a beautiful sunny morning. Sometimes Howler monkey will also visit you haha!
Task: I painted the woods for the names of the Trees on their property. I also made a policy for the place and made a proposal for their Compost Bin. My boyfriend Jivko is responsible for taking footage of the entire place and editing the videos.
Food: For this matter -there is a bit of misunderstanding because before we apply he told us that there's free food, so
sometimes we have food, sometimes we need to go down to Minca to buy our food at our own expense, but we do understand this part because at that time this place is still in progress and everything is totally new!

We met Carlos, the main assistant in this project, he is always around and checking up on us if we are ok. He is a very nice guy and he became our friend. Ricardo is not always around but he constantly checks if everything is fine.

Overall Experience:
I'll be honest we went to this place because we thought we are going to learn about Permaculture, though we didn't do any farming we still appreciate the experience. We met amazing people and we value the friendship that we build in this place. The Local Spanish people who work on this property are kindhearted and they always tried their best to communicate with us

Tips for the next Volunteer :
* If you prefer wild, raw, jungle experience then try this place.
* Bring insect repellant, the mosquitoes and bugs here are insane!
* Be CLEAR about your goal here to avoid disappointment if the Host didn't meet your expectations.
* Minca (the cute town) is a 20-minute walk from the Casa
* Bring and buy some food supplies in advance like sweets, or cookies, fruits.

At the end of the day .. no matter what happened -the place and experience will change you ^_^ right?
