Hello!

I am Rika, 21 years old and I am from Berlin, Germany. It has been my little big dream to go on adventures and discover Latin America for a few years now. I worked here in Berlin for one year in a language school with people from all over the world and this intensive language and cultural exchange only motivated me even more to make my dream come true. And well - here I am!

I'm super curious to meet new people, further improve my Spanish skills (currently I'm stuck in B1 level), discover countries with their cities & landscapes and expand my comfort zone. I love to go through life optimistically and reflect on what I experience or feel. To reflect on things, the diary must of course never be missing! :)

I am more than open to meet people with whom I can travel further. I am sure that there are super many lovely people out there with whom you can experience a lot of unforgettable moments.

I would love to improve my Spanish during my travels. I am also very interested in learning Swedish for some reason, haha :) So far I have only taught English and German and that only in private lessons. But I can also imagine to give lessons for small groups and to think of creative tasks for the lessons.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

During my time in high school I worked in a small café where I gained my first working experience. Stress management was necessary! :D

After my high school graduation, I did a two-year apprenticeship as a foreign language correspondent, where I specialized in English and Spanish. There I translated texts, did commercial correspondence, was taught international economics and how to work on the computer effectively.

My language level in English is C1 level and in Spanish B1. But I am super motivated to improve my Spanish!! :) I am taking Spanish lessons at the moment.

During my apprenticeship I have teached younger students in German and English. There, I always had super fun coming up with creative exercises for the lessons that would get the students motivated to learn new things.

At the moment I am working in a language school in Berlin. I am not working as a teacher, but I am working in the customer service. This means that I welcome the students to the school and advise them about the language courses. I also work a lot on the computer where I reply to mails, organize language courses, create offers and invoices, improve Marketing strategies and and and...

Was noch ...

I love to read and also to write texts - no matter if short diary entries, just my thoughts, little stories or poems.

I am also passionate about theater. I have played for 7 years in a theater school and had some performances. Also in television I have had a few roles, including a leading role. I love to slip into other roles and evoke emotions in the audience.

Besides, dancing is a great hobby of mine, which gives me a lot of happiness and freedom. I was a few years in a dance school. Now I am only taking some dance courses when I have the time to, but I really miss dancing regularly.
