Ich bin gerade

Beschreibung

Hi! :)) I'm Pia and I am taking a year off before i start university next fall.
I plan on travelling through Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Albania and wherever the wind will take me while experiencing other cultures, meeting new people, working or helping out wherever I stay with whatever I can and getting out of my comfort zone.
When I am not travelling I am taking a travel break at home in the north of germany, working and enjoying my life without school :)

Current plan: travelling the Balkan states by car in march and april, making my way down the coast to Albania and then up again. Looking for someone with a drivers liscense that would like to accompany me and “Knubbel” (the car^^) for the whole or some part of the journey in exploring the countries, their capitals and nature and do one or the other workaway. Hit me up if you’re interested :))

I would love to learn some farming, improve my gardening skills or woodwork/building skills or work with animals as much as I would love to help out in gastronomy or hostels&hotels.

In general you can give me any task and I am happy to do it :)

I am a German native speaker so though I am not in any way qualified other than it being my first language I can definitely teach you and talk to you in German :D As for the learning part, I am always interested in learning any language

Was könntest du arbeiten?

language skills - I lived in Ireland for a year, so I am fluent in English as well as in German, my mother tongue. I learnt french in school, so I have the basic conversation skills, though I am better at understanding than speaking :) I am also trying to learn Dutch and Italian right now, so I am able to understand a few sentences.

I know my way around basic building / woodwork tools and bike tools/ equipment as I like spending my time in my dads hobby workshop either helping him or doing my own little projects.

We have a garden so I have some knowledge of how to deal with plants etc. :)

I worked at a cafe and a strawberry sale for some time and work in a supermarket when i am at home, so I know my way around cash registers and I love to work with customers. :)

In general I have no fear of getting my hands dirty during any task, I love and get around well with animals and I am eager to learn new skills.
