Hello,
I'm very excited to be joining this community. I'm Paulo , Brazilian ( but european citizenship) and I'm about to embark on my greatest adventure, a sabbatical year, to meet people committed to living life in a joyfult and sustainable way.
In a few weeks' time, I'll be taking a break from my career and dedicating myself exclusively to exploring places and meeting interesting people. I've been to every continent, but now I want to take my time and really get to know the essence of places and people.
My hope is that Workaway will be the gateway to this new world I want to explore, not least because through volunteering, working together, and not as a tourist, there is the possibility of experiencing real things, with real people!

Sono molto contento di entrare a far parte di questa comunità. Sono Paulo , sono brasiliano (ma con cittadinanza europea) e sto per intraprendere la mia più grande avventura, un anno sabbatico, per incontrare persone impegnate a vivere la vita in modo gioioso e sostenibile.
Tra poche settimane, mi prenderò una pausa dalla mia carriera e mi dedicherò esclusivamente all'esplorazione di luoghi e all'incontro con persone interessanti. Sono stata in tutti i continenti, ma ora voglio prendermi il mio tempo e conoscere davvero l'essenza dei luoghi e delle persone.
La mia speranza è che Workaway sia la porta d'accesso a questo nuovo mondo che voglio esplorare, anche perché attraverso il volontariato, la collaborazione e non come turista, c'è la possibilità di vivere esperienze reali, con persone reali!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have an interest in sustainability projects in general and my entire career has been dedicated to researching sustainable communities, having the opportunity to meet traditional peoples, visiting them all over the world: South Africa, Guatemala, Peru, Fiji, Mozambique, Nepal/Himalaya, Jamaica, Norway/Sami, Svalbard and, of course, Brazil.
IMPORTANT: I graduated as an agricultural technician (a three-year course at a boarding farm school). I am therefore very interested in opportunities in the agriculture sector.
I drive, cook, have a sailing license (amateur skipper), scuba dive (Padi diver) and am very willing to do any job!
Having grown up on a tourist island (Ilhabela), I already have experience of working in bars and tourist services.




Ho un interesse per i progetti di sostenibilità in generale e tutta la mia carriera è stata dedicata alla ricerca di comunità sostenibili, avendo l'opportunità di incontrare i popoli tradizionali, visitandoli in tutto il mondo: Sudafrica, Guatemala, Perù, Fiji, Mozambico, Nepal/Himalaya, Giamaica, Norvegia/Sami, Svalbard e, naturalmente, Brasile.
IMPORTANTE: sono diplomata come tecnico agricolo (corso triennale in un collegio). Sono quindi molto interessato a opportunità nel settore della agricoltora.
Guido, cucino, ho la patente nautica (skipper amatoriale), faccio immersioni (Padi diver) e sono molto disponibile a fare qualsiasi lavoro!
Essendo cresciuta su un'isola turistica (Ilhabela), ho già esperienza di lavoro in bar e servizi turistici.

During university I worked in gardening, waitressing and restaurants/bars.
As a sportsman, I've practiced sailing, mountaineering, climbing, running and horse riding .
I love literature and writing.

Durante l'università ho lavorato come giardiniere, cameriere e in ristoranti/bar.
Come sportivo, ho praticato vela, alpinismo, arrampicata, corsa, equitazione .
Amo la letteratura e la scrittura.
