Hello everyone !
We are two friends from southern France seeking for new adventures abroad. We came to find this website because we love to travel, to learn about other countries' culture and overall, to help people in need.

Carole : Hello there ! My first name is Carole but I prefer to go by Cal (they/them) and I am 24 y.o
I speak french as my monthertongue and I have a good level in english (that I practiced enough during my volunteerings abroad)
I also have a beginner/intermediate level in german but I don't want to give any hopes to german speaking people, I really need to improve haha.

This year, i worked as an international volunteer with both french-german project and ECS (European Corps of Solidarity) in North Macedonia. I also worked as a receptionist at Hostel One in Prague for 2 months.
Now i'm back to my place in Toulouse but I'm already preparing another departure abroad. I would like to dedicate this new year to international volunteering again. To discover new countries that I haven't had the opportunity to explore yet.
Before that, I obtained a diploma in hotel/catering management (with a cooking specialisation) and also worked as farm help in a dairy cattle farm.

About my everyday hobbies, I like to cook for my friends/other people. I also enjoy reading comics, drawing, watching movies or series or playing board games. I also play the saxophone/sing or dance on my free time.

Raphaël : My name is Raphaël and I am 24 y.o
I also speak french fluently and I have decent level in english. I also have a beginner level in italian. After I finished my studies with a professional qualification in silkscreen printing, I became a tattoo apprentice for a year. Now i am currently working as a youth worker in a primary school for a year and half.

Since my contract will end on the last day of November, I would like to take a break and travel/work abroad with the help of the workaway platform.

Besides all that, I like drawing, reading comics, watching movies or series and listen to music all day long.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Carole : For the last three years, I worked as a kitchen help in a few french restaurants as a part of my studies. I also did a part of my internship as a waitress. Recently, I helped a friend with farm work in the Pyrénées. He taught me how to take care of his cows (feed them, bring them to the fields, etc.) and do some extra work like cutting wood for the house or clear bushes in the fields.
Overall, I am always eager to help and learn about new stuff !

Raphaël : I have professional skills in drawing for most artistic projects. Otherwise, I also did an intership as a waiter in italy (Venice) for a month so I have some experience in that job as well.
Recently, I worked with children and teenagers for a year and half. I volunteered in a french program as a primary school assistant director. In addition to that, I also gave drawing classes to the children. I am very curious to help and learn from other people.
