Tätigkeiten, die mich interessieren:

Currently I am on a lovely Workaway in Galicia, Spain on an Alpaca farm! I'd be available again for another Workaway starting June - open end :)

Beschreibung

Hi there, I am Nele! After living for 5 years in Hamburg and working a 9-5 job, I am happy to get out there again, meet people and make new experiences for some months (before returning to my cozy home).
I am into sports like running, indoor cycling and canoeing, love reading, hanging out with friends, my boyfriend and cat and I like to bake and cook (vegetarian 🌱) as well. Recently I also started to learn playing the guitar. I did Work and Travel in Australia and New Zealand, studied linguistics and intercultural communication in Germany, Spain and the Netherlands and am looking forward to reactivating my travel-self for a longer period of time again :)
The past years I used the time I had with a full time job to travel to Mexico, Albania, Portugal and more - and last year also bought a van to explore more corners of Europe.
Ideally, I'd like to spend time in a place I can deepen my Spanish skills, but I am also always happy to speak English or German.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

My skills include languages (German, English, Spanish), intercultural competence, organizational and structural skills and more.
I worked as a project manager in a digital agency for 5 years so can deal with all kinds of Microsoft tools, planning things, portioning tasks in neat blocks to be dealt with easier etc.
I also had jobs like fruit picking, selling strawberries, working on an ice rink, as a hostess on fairs, in a bar, I did internships in event management and more. Also, I joined the program "willing workers on organic farms" in Australia and worked in Darwin for over a months, digging holes for trees, getting rid of useless weeds etc. - although I have to be honest, I still really hate spiders and get easily freaked out by them! My first Workaway on an Alpaca farm also taught me more about animals and farming in general.

I should add - I am a teeeeny bit scared of big dogs as I had two bad experiences unfortunately. But really depends how their attitude is - a family dog like a Golden Retriever which has a playful, calm and friendly attitude would be no problem.

I absolutely love cats 🐈‍⬛
And I am happy to bake my signature vegan chocolate banana cake. Or cook Lasagna, Pasta, Tacos and more 🌮
