Hi, I’m Matt, originally from the UK and currently taking a sabbatical travel the world and want to maximise my time away and enrich my life memories with amazing volunteering opportunities.

I’m a very outgoing, extraverted who's favourite thing about travelling is meeting people from all backgrounds, hearing their stories and connecting on a deep level. The more i learn about others, the more i learn about myself :)

In addition to this, I'm a big nature lover (avid hiker) and love that warm feeling you get when you make a positive impact to the world...whether that's environmentally, or helping out local communities with teaching, building things or being creative and having fun.

Taking reliability and responsibility is seriously is ingrained into from my parents since childhood so I commit to something, I show up properly and do the job to the best of my capability. I’m comfortable working independently or as part of a team, and I adapt quickly to new environments.

For me, the real currency in life is collecting new experiences and skills so I’m open to a wide range of roles. Here’s what I can offer:

- Cleaning, housekeeping and general maintenance
-Guest check-in, hospitality support and hosting
- Teaching English and leading group activities
- Organising and leading social events
- Basic IT support and admin work
- Sales, marketing, social media and PR
- DJing and music curation (happy to support events or create atmosphere)
- Piano playing (if available!)
- Animal care (experienced with dogs and cats)
- Painting, basic DIY and repairs
- Leading tours and guided hikes

If you’re looking for someone dependable, adaptable, and genuinely enthusiastic about contributing, I’d love to volunteer for you!

My current plan is to travel through Sri Lanka and Indonesia before i pursue a DJ career in Melbourne later this year .

Was noch ...

I have a large variety in hobbies and interests but music is by far the biggest. My ultimate dream is to be a professional DJ. I decided to give up my corporate career to pursue this dream and I am travelling whilst developing my skill set so I can see the world but also take inspiration from the places and people I visit - I try and incorporate sounds I hear from my travels into my music.

Additionally to this, I play football and really enjoy hiking and anything active in general. I love playing board games, cards and honestly anything that is social and allows me to connect with other people.
