Hi to everyone!
My name is Matías. I'm an Argentinian filmmaker traveling around the world!
My hometown is Buenos Aires a frenetic capital city. There's where I grew up and studied. In this moment of my life I'm exploring new horizons and trying to learn from each and every single experience I have.
I am a passionate and empathetic individual who loves meeting different cultures and connecting with awesome communities. Learning new skills and sharing my stories is what keeps me going, and that's why I'm excited about volunteering! Whether it's teaching a language, sharing skills acquired during my journey, or offering insights into my own culture, I believe in the power of reciprocal learning.
I want to be part of meaningful projects and support cool sustainable initiatives. I look forward to making lasting friendships and positive changes together.

I'm a native spanish speaker since I was born in Argentina. On the other hand I studied english in a bilingual school since I was three years old. As a student I passed the Cambridge University AS Level examination to complete my studies. Therefore I'm able to say my english language knowledge lets me teach and use that language in a very fluent way, be it written, spoken or reading. During high school I took a course of french for two years so I have a basic knowledge of that language. And at last, in my life I´ve traveled many times to Brazil which is one of the bordering countries to Argentina. In those trips I was able to practice and learn Portuguese so I can communicate pretty well in that language too.

As for my usual work, I'm a professional filmmaker which likes to create new content and accept different creative challenges. Life has taught me that art, in its infinite kind of shapes, can get you closer to happiness so I really appreciate my profession as it allows me to be more conscious of my environment.
I'm really skilled as handy man and have worked as maintenance crew for the engineering department at Four Season's Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida.
I consider myself a smart person when it comes to figure out how to solve an issue in any kind of area or situation. I'm really used to and love to work as part of a team but can perfectly complete any task just by myself as well.
One of my passions is to cook, I usually do it for others since cooking just for myself is not as enjoyable. And the truth is that cooking for others is a way to express love and care so that's what I like the most about the ritual.
I'm an easy going person who has worked at restaurants, bars, clothes' stores, social events and sports clubs, having direct contact with customers and serving or helping them in the best way possible.
I'm also a quick learner which can adapt to new environments and dynamics quite fast.
I have a very good perception of tasks and the time required to them in order to complete them in the fastest way possible.

I believe good communication is essential for any relation in someone's life. This applies to family, friends, partners, couples, jobs, etc.
Being able to have fun, play games and make jokes is one of the things I cherish the most.
Playing some sports every now and then makes me feel really well and it renews my energy.
I love eating and cooking as well. I consider myself a great cook, just because I do it with love.
Going out and getting to know the traditions of every country or city is always something I really value.
As an argentinian it's my duty to remember every citizen of the world that for the next four years we are and will be the actual world cup football champions ;)
