Hello! My name is Monica, I am 23 years old and I recently graduated from the University of Venice, Italy. I graduated in languages, cultures and societies of Asia and Mediterranean Africa, in particular I studied Chinese and Arabic languages.

I am a friendly, open-minded girl who has a huge passion for travelling, exploration, trying new things and getting to know new people with different stories and backgrounds. I am strongly motivated and full of initiative and always highly enthusiastic about my work and tasks ahead, which I carry on with precision and proactivity.

In high school I studied languages (English, German and Spanish) and over the years, through language exchanges, I had the opportunity to travel to Australia, USA, England, Spain, Germany and Austria. Thanks to these experiences, I have developed very good communication skills and increased my curiosity towards the world around me and all its beauty.

My work experiences mainly concern teaching English to children, individually or in a class, but I have also carried on some volunteering activities: for example, from March to May 2022, I volunteered for the Ubalda Bettini Girella Association (o.n.l.u.s.) which develops its activity in the educational-training and social-assistance sector; I helped children with their schoolwork and for 2 hours a week I taught Italian to a child who arrived from Morocco in January.

Among my passions are photography, music, reading, hiking, sports and in general spending time in nature: the region where I grew up, in northern Italy, is characterized by beautiful mountains and green landscapes, and I always have loved all of this.

Also, my curiosity pushes me to always try to try or know something new. I love the idea of immersing myself in new cultures characterized by different habits and traditions, and of helping people: for this reason, over the years I have participated in several volunteer projects in my area.

My greatest desire is to see the world and to live as many experiences as possible! :)
