Welcome to my profile!
To get you started, I feel like you need to know the top 3 things about myself:

1. I am always down for an adventure. I like to stay as busy and as active as my body will let me and collect stories to tell when I am older. Going with the flow is my motto and I will say yes to almost anything (within reason). Part of why I am doing Workaway is because I would like to gain new skills to help grow with my experiences.

2. Helping others is something I've always been passionate about. A sort of love language for me. Whether it be helping on a farm or bartending in the city, I am open to creating a positive environment while we work together towards the same goal.

3. I am new to Workaway and am open to any tips or tricks you may have for me. I recently graduated from my undergrad with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology with a Minor in Psychology and before I feel like this is the next chapter for me. I plan on travelling through Europe hopefully staying in or near the coast. I go crazy for some beautiful scenery!

I would love to learn Spanish as is a beautiful language. There is an increasing number of people in my country who speak Spanish and I would be amazing to communicate with them. I studied French for 11 years, but haven't used it in a while. I'd love to brush up on it.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Ever since I can remember, I've had a basketball in my hand. My parents put me in the sport when I was 5 and I immediately fell in love with it. I was dedicated to my team and was able to learn lots through my teammates and coaches. Basketball was the ultimate life lesson for me as it taught me teamwork, communication, punctuality, resilience, and so much more than I can imagine.

I have been working on customer service since I was 14 years old and I've loved it! My first job was at the largest tourist attraction in my home town at a water park and I was a very versatile worker. I primarily worked at the ticket booths; However, I was also a valuable worker in the fast food restaurants and doing maintenance. This was a job that had for 4 years.

I've worked at a flower shop dealing with shipping and delivering, maintenance of the shop and flowers, as well as aiding the florists when needed.

For two years, I worked on a golf course serving food and beverages on the course.

I've most recently been working for the golf association of my province which has taught me more on marketing, media management and graphic design.

I even grew up helping my parents with renovations and painting, so I guess you can say I have a bit of a handy side to me too.
