Hi :)
I'm Monika, 31 from Switzerland. And I am starting my travels through Asia.
I love to explore.
If jungel, mountains, small towns, big citys or at the ocean, I like to mix it up and discover all the different places with their individual perks. :)
One day hiking up a mountain and enjoying the beauty of nature, The next day sitting in a cafe eating carrot cake. Sounds perfect. xD
But I do feel most at home next to water. Or in water. Or on water. :)
And I love to learn about different cultures, their history and their way of life. That's also why I like to spend my time learning new languages and their connection to the culture.
Also I love to create. Even as a kid, arts and craft days were always my favourite. xD Some of my favourite ways of creating are pottery, sewing and painting. At home I spend a lot of time in the pottery studio.
While travelling I really enjoy learing new handicrafts and trade skills. :)

I've worked at the reception of Hotels before and enjoyed the interaction with the guests a lot. Also I have a bit of marketing knowledge through my education and my volunteer work for a NGO.
I'm a teamplayer and love to learn new things.
I travel with my camera and like that I see details while photographing which I otherwise would have overlooked.
I'm pretty crafty and have a lot of patience. Which helps :)
