Hello! My name is Mikel. I am always seeking to learn something new in all environments. Growing up, my father taught high school geography which ignited an interest for learning about different people, cultures and landscapes! Not surprisingly, experiencing a new place that's 1+ hour from home (Dallas-Fort Worth) usually brings out the nerd in me!

I am brand new to Workaway and looking to dive straight into an opportunity this Summer. I will be starting a master's degree program in GIS/Mapping this fall so I am looking to get the most out of my time off before I have to buckle down for school.

I dream of one day owning land to operate a subsistence garden and possibly raise animals. It would be a privilege to learn any bit of information from you and your farm, ranch, or garden.

-Some experience with engine maintenance and welding
-Quick learner
