Living in Spain we don't get much of a winter wonderland vibe, so now I'm looking for a cold snowy destination to spend the winter holidays.

Beschreibung

Hello! My name is Miriam and I'm a Peruvian/Spanish Architect living in Spain for more than 7 years now. I've done workaway for over 3 years, and due to the covid situation I decided to stop and find a permanent home. I found that home in Barcelona, where I've been living, working and making friends for the past 4 years.
Last winter I had the incredible opportunity to do workaway in Lapland, Finland, for 3 months. I got to be an outdoors guide, taking people on trekking tours day and night, witnessing the most beautiful landscapes. I was also in charge of welcoming guests and helping solve any issues they may have. Lastly I was also helping out with cooking and cleaning chores, and helping with anything else needed at the lodge.
Now I find myself in need of a snowy winter and maybe a new and exiting path. I wish to find a place for the winter season, hopefully a place with snow, mountains and skiing opportunities. I'm also looking forward to a new journey meeting people from different backgrounds and finding myself developing new skills, always trying to learn something new anywhere I go.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I'm an architect and a creative and social person. I like being around people and making new friends everywhere I go! I also love to cook! I speak spanish, english, Italian and a little bit of french and I love practicing whenever I can. In the past i've been helping out in many hostels, so I can say I have some experience on the hospitality department. I got to do a little bit of everyting, from receptionist duties, taking people out to parties, making dinner and breakfast, housekeeping, making people feel at home! Also had the rural experience chopping some wood and gardening, and also taking care of a few furry friends like cats and dogs while housesitting, and I'm open to new experiences and keep learning!
