Beschreibung

I am a Swedish girl travelling to South and Eastern Europe this summer in hope to learn something new and meet new people!

I love travelling and seeing new places, learning about the culture and nature. Earlier this year, I spent two months in South America and before that I've lived in Norway and two years in Jerusalem. Because of this, I've gotten hooked with curiosity to learn and see more.

I love hiking, reading and music and I have a passion for sustainability. In school, I did a sustainability course and I'm going to study Electrical Engineering in the future as a want to work with sustainable energy and making a contribution to a safer environment.

This is one of the reasons Workaway attracts me as I see the opportunity to learn from others and their sustainable methods, wether it's through farming or service or anything in between. I believe everyone can learn from each other and I hope I can contribute to your work and learn from it at the same time.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

During school, I worked weekends at restaurants as a server and a runner and thrived in the fast pace of service where I found a perfect balance between customer service and the more physical sides of the job.

Since my high-school graduation (2022), I've tried to broaden my work experience. I've done to seasons in the swedish mountains, Jämtlandsfjällen, at a hiking-station where I worked in the restaurant as a server and in hotel-cleaning. I've also done a season in the Norweigian mountains where I worked in a tourist-shop. In between those seasons I've volunteered at a youth-organization in Sweden where I worked directly with youth camps as well as in gardening and helping our janitors and carpenters and learnt a lot, working by their side.

With several years within the service industry as well as outside work such as gardeing anf carpentry, I feel confident in my hard-workign abilities and I wish to learn even more.
