I'm Mikey, I am 31 and live in Sheffield, UK. I love Nature, music and community. I have spent the last years doing a mixture of building work and land work. I feel at home using tools and growing plants. I have a gentle nature and am very clean and tidy, I love being in community with others. I would like to see parts of the world very different from the UK and meet people while contributing to good projects along the way. A passion of mine is Swing music and dancing and I will bring my clarinet with me on my travels. Look forward to meeting you :-)

I have skills in growing and caring for plants (in the UK), I have been growing food in my garden for a few years. I have good basic skills in building/carpentry as I have been renovating my parents house. I work as a Teaching assistant in a special education school .

Mikey stayed here for three wonderful weeks.He was nice ,funny, very friendly and very helpful.He gained the hearts and the love of everyone.

I stayed at the Language school in Berrechid for 3 weeks, Berrechid itself is much bigger than i was expecting from the other feedback. It was the perfect place to get a sense for normal moroccan life (not like the stress of marrakech). As for the work if you enjoy speaking English to people i think you will enjoy it, and it's a good way to get to… read more

Mikey has a beautiful soul. We all enjoyed the swing dance sessions in the living room, he's a great dancer and a great teacher.

I had an amazing time. Such great people here, fran is super lovely and the best boss ever and always up for ideas of things like special party nights and dinners. There is art on the walls and music being played and always a lot of fun to be had. Bring ideas and love this place good :-)

I spend two weeks here, a place very devoted to krisna, the living here feels simple and peaceful. I especially enjoyed the chanting and dancing, and the amount of love effort put into the tasty tasty meals. lovely people here I was made to feel very welcome. Thanks so much :-)

My time with Martin was shorter than i would have liked, he is a very kind gentle man. It was a very positive experience to live simply and less harmfully to the earth. Martin is a very creative musician so the jams were a personal highlight! merci pour tout :-)

(Help with gardening, cleaning ...)
I had an amazing 4 weeks in fresne-la-mere with Pete, Su, George and Lily. The work varied from room cleaning to gardening and basic DIY, they were able to explain the tasks very clearly and was and patiently.
