My name is Emma Othilie Nicolaisen and I am from a small town located by the coast in Norway. I grew up in a family that have always loved travelling and exploring the outdoors. My favorite activity is hiking and I love to spend as much time as possible outside.
We have always had dogs and cats in our family, most often rescue annimal that we have taken in on their old age. For this reason I am used to living with pets, med would love to do work or live with animals.

I have served military service in Norway for 18 months. I worked with patrouling the Norwegian-Russian border. This period was challenging in a lot of ways, but it was first and foremost extremely giving. i learned a lot about independence and working in teams.

After the military, I moved to Barcelona for four months to begin learning spanish. I then moved to Costa Rica to study spanish and sustanability. I learned the importance of not just taking what we need from nature, but also caring for it as well. I am passonate about agriculture and sustainable living and would love to work and learn more about similar subjects.

After this semester, I volunteered at an orphanage in Costa Rica - which was the most special and giving time of my travels. I also traveled to Guatemala where I did my first workaway at an dog-rescue senter. Everyday was an adventure and filled with countless dogs to walk and play with!

I ended my trip to South-America with another semester of studying spanish and litterature in Argentina.

I have experience in gardening, basic farming, and sustainable living, which I learned through volunteering and living in Costa Rica. I love working outdoors and enjoy hands-on tasks like planting, animal care, and DIY projects. I have spent a lot of time around animals, inclusion volunteering at a dog rescue center.

I have volunteered at an orphanage and is comfortable caring for kids. I have spent one years working as a subtitute teacher at an elementary school and at an instituition for lederkurs people. I have always enjoyed connecting with people from different backgrounds.
