We just started our work holiday visas in New Zealand and are excited to see where they take us!

Hey there,

We met working for a small U.S. based cruise line. After working on separate ships for a few months we quickly realized we prefer life spent together.

Now we’re excited to explore the next chapter of our lives together through exploring our interests, traveling, and meeting new people. We recently traveled to New Zealand on our WHV's and are excited to explore and learn all that New Zealand has to offer over the next year.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I (Mike) worked as a deckhand for 2years and before that worked as a gardener/landscaper during summers while I was in high school and college. I'm skilled in line-handling, boat maintenance/repair, cleaning, manual labor, and have a wide variety of handyman experience.

Katie went to school for hospitality and has great customer service and communication skills. She nannied for four children through college, the families were dual citizens (US/German) so she would travel internationally with them for the holidays. She has experience house sitting for several months at a time for family friends as well as pet sitting with dogs and cats.

Some other relevant info about us: Katie and I are both open-minded and are excited to learn about new cultures, ways of living and help out any way we can. We like to stay active, whether it be hiking, playing sports, or swimming in any body of water. We also are big fans of board games/card games, and love enjoy quality time relaxing.
Lasty, Katie and I are not strangers to hard work, our jobs required long hours/work weeks and often physically demanding. We're always up for a challenge and are willing to learn.
