Hi all! I'm looking to spend 2-4 weeks in September deepening my relationship to the land and community abroad, supporting you in your projects, and learning. I enjoy nature and have been looking to immerse myself more deeply into it, after being cooped up for the last year! I don't have a lot of experience in gardening/carpentry but I am eager to learn and gain new skills!

I am passionate about people's wellbeing and strong supportive communities. I have a background in mental health, psychology, non-profit, and public health. I would like to meet new interesting people and share our life stories too, as well as our dreams for sustainable futures that we build together. I am from near Seattle and I have been fully vaccinated (Pfizer) since May.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I'm fluent in English and trying to learn Vietnamese but am still very much a beginner. I'm decent at cooking (though usually need a recipe). I enjoy working with my hands and have great fine motor skills (spent a decade learning classical piano). I'm very precise and sometimes like building from kits. Most importantly, I am interested in everything and ready to learn new skills and knowledge!

Was noch ...

I like to do silly little things sometimes. During this pandemic, I built a catapult out of pencils (to knock down Jenga block walls) and learned how to bake bread and other goods in our toaster oven. I try to do Geocaching and go to Atlas Obscura sites with friends. I enjoy exploring abandoned places or construction sites sometimes. I also enjoy thrift store shopping and going to food/cultural events in Seattle, as well as hiking. I do my best to read books, but it can be hard to stay on track when I have so many interests!
