Hi! My name is Maya and I'm 19 years old from Sweden. I'm a happy, friendly and adventurous person. I love nature and being outdoor. Music is a big part of my life. I play guitar, piano, sing and write songs.
I'm a very big fan of Earth :)) the world inspires me and all the things I get to learn from it! Because of this the environmental issue is also something I put value on and I try to live sustainably.
I believe that the world is our mirror, and that we are all connected to each other and to this planet. I'm interested in things like palmistry and dream interpretation.
I look forward to learning, experiencing and living a lot while travelling!

Was könntest du arbeiten?
I can play guitar, paino and sing. I studied music in upper secondary school where we also learned about some acting and improvising.
I am fluent in Swedish and English and know a bit of French.
My family grows vegetables, herbs and such at home so I know some things about that too, regarding for example sowing and garden & property maintenance.
I've climbed since I was young and have a green card in climbing. I also work extra as a climbing instructor both for kids and adults. I also work part time in an outdoor store - helping the customers, rearranging the store, standing in the cash register etc.
I have some limited waitressing experience.
I have a cat so I have experience in the cat-area.
Lastly I can do some basing sewing and handle a sewing machine.

Sadly we didn't get the chance to meet Pedro (since he was in Lisbon) but we were warmly welcomed by other volunteers :)
The work was relaxed and we had lots of time to walk around the land, pet the donkeys, and even go for a riding class in Almeida!
