Beschreibung
My passion in life is helping others, specifically children with disadvantaged backgrounds. This is the reason I became a secondary school teacher, to become a positive role model and create a safe environment for those that might not have this elsewhere. I find happiness in many things outside of this, most of which involve the outdoors like hiking, camping, climbing and surfing. I also thoroughly enjoy cooking then sitting down and getting to enjoy it, listening to music and podcasts, reading, and trying out new crafts (latest obsession is crocheting).

Was könntest du arbeiten?
I am a 25 year old secondary school teacher from Australia. I have been teaching for the previous 2 years at underprivileged government schools as this is where I feel I can make the most difference. I love working with young adults as I love their creativity and expressiveness but also their curiosity and sassiness, and have really come around to also caring for younger children since becoming an aunty 3 years ago. I completed a Bachelor of Arts majoring in philosophy, mathematics and history, then went on to do a Master of Teaching to be able to become a teacher. While this is my main qualification I have gained a plethora of skills over the course of the many jobs I have done. These mainly include 3 years of retail at an outdoors store and supermarket, one year of aquaculture at an abalone farm, one year of logistics and manual labour at a sports stadium, and various tasks at two seasonal jobs being a lifeguard and working at a ski resort in New Zealand. In doing all of these jobs I have acquired some qualifications including level 2 first aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis training, lifeguard course, safe food handling certificate, chief warden training, teen mental health first aid, and responsible service of alcohol. I am happy to provide any of these documentations if needed.

I just want to put forth that I love a challenge and am extremely open to learning and trying new things. I often pick things up quite quickly and don't mind getting my hands dirty or putting myself outside my comfort zone. I have a good attitude towards trying new things and am a great communicator and hard worker!
