Hi!
My name is Marion, I'm a 20 year-old political science student from Belgium. I believe travelling and discovering the world help create a better world, which is why I am so fond of Workaway :) I've done several in the past which helped me learn so much about the world, others and myself.
Being around nature, the ocean, forests, sunsets as well as learning new languages and being around animals and fellow humans: these are some of the things I live for ! I'm always eager to learn and love to contribute to all kinds of projects, though I'm hoping to build one of my own someday!

French is my native language, I went to a Dutch-speaking school, I learned English via reading, lessons and traveling, and I learned Spanish while on an exchange in Colombia. So, I can say I'm fluent and willing to teach those languages :) I am always open to learn new languages ! I find it fun and it's a great way to know more about people, their culture and country.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I speak 4 languages fluently: French, English, Spanish and Dutch. I also have notions of German and Russian.
I have been working around horses for 10 years, so I'm quite decent at handling, riding and caring for them. I love being around animals, and I can say that I have a relatively good contact with them.
I do not know so much about manual jobs, but I am always, always, always willing to learn and help! I have done some painting, gardening, farm work, helped building a house, etc. and I would love to learn to do more :)
I have easy contact with strangers and have worked in a hostel doing the "social part" of the job, which I enjoyed doing.

Was noch ...

Some hobbies of mine are horse riding, watercolor painting, reading fiction or poetry, being around nature, ... A dream of mine is to learn how to surf, so that is something I'm looking for while doing Workaway :)
