Deciding to embark on the Workaway journey holds a special place in our hearts, as it marks the beginning of our first-ever travel experience. We love to cook and have a true passion for the culinary arts. Creating delicious meals brings us immense joy, and we are excited to share our culinary talents with the Workaway hosts. Among our culinary skills, we can make homemade pizzas, authentic sushi, and even a delightful barbecue. We are always ready to delight your taste buds!

Apart from cooking, we enjoy spending time together watching movies. It's a relaxing and enjoyable way to immerse ourselves in different stories and cultures. We are always open to suggestions for interesting movies or even a themed movie night!

While I am studying medicine and dedicating myself to learning about health and caring for people, Leo has a background in business administration and works in his father's company. He has also played tennis professionally and is a sports enthusiast, especially passionate about Moto GP.

On the other hand, I have experience in sales, marketing, and social media management. I have worked in retail, developing marketing strategies and creating content to enhance online presence and attract customers. I also take photos and edit them for posting on social media. Additionally, I am a fitness enthusiast and have a great appreciation for the world of dance. These activities keep me energized and allow me to express my creativity.

Another thing that brings us great joy is the company of animals. We have an unconditional love for them and would be thrilled to assist in animal care projects or activities that promote their well-being. We consider them important members of our lives and would be happy to share special moments with your pets.

We both have a strong interest in languages and a strong desire to expand our linguistic abilities. In addition to our goal of improving our fluency in English, we are eager to learn and immerse ourselves in other languages during our Workaway experiences. I have studied English for several years and have a foundation, but I still struggle with the language. I am excited to further enhance my skills through practical usage and cultural exchange. I am also intrigued by the beauty and complexity of languages such as Spanish, French, and Italian, and would love the opportunity to explore them further. Leonardo, on the other hand, has a natural talent for languages and enjoys the challenge of learning new ones. He had an initial encounter with Chinese during his recent trip to China and is eager to continue his language learning journey. He is also interested in exploring other languages and is excited to interact with native speakers to improve his proficiency. We believe that language is not only a means of communication but also a gateway to understanding different cultures and establishing meaningful connections. We are excited to engage with hosts who can provide language support, conversational practice, and insights into the language and local culture. We are open to language exchange opportunities, where we can share our knowledge of Portuguese and learn from native speakers in return. We are Maria Fernanda, 21 years old, and Leonardo, 23 years old. We are a couple full of skills and passions that we would love to share during our Workaway experience.

Since I was little, I have been immersed in the wonderful world of dance and have practiced ballet, tap dance, and street dance. This training has provided me with a unique creative ability, allowing me to express my creativity and artistic sense. I am passionate about dance and believe that art has the power to connect us with our essence.

I am dedicated to sports, but I find my true relaxation and challenge in weightlifting at the gym. I have an unwavering determination and believe that with effort and dedication, I can achieve any goal I set for myself. One example of this was the entrance exam process for a public and free medical school. I studied intensely for three years and achieved my dream. There is no challenge that I cannot face if I am dedicated.

Additionally, I have skills in photography and some editing, organizing social media profiles, and sales. I enjoy hands-on work and am always willing to learn new techniques. I am passionate about exploring my creativity in different projects and open to new opportunities within Workaway.

Leo, on the other hand, has exceptional skills in sports. His passion for tennis has led him to acquire deep knowledge, and he can even give lessons if there is interest. He also has knowledge in general maintenance, business administration, and management. His work experience in his father's company has helped him develop valuable skills in these fields.

We both share an unconditional love for animals. In our families, we have a total of 5 dogs who are true family members. Each of them holds a special place in our hearts. Additionally, I have a special love for horses and would love the opportunity to interact with and learn more about these magnificent creatures.

In addition to our passions and skills, one of our main goals is to improve our English language proficiency. Although I have taken English courses for several years in Brazil, I am not yet fluent, and I am fully aware that mastering this language would open many doors for our future. We are interested in finding someone during our Workaway journey who can help us improve our fluency in English.

I had a challenging experience when I traveled to Orlando for my 15th birthday celebration. I faced difficulties in understanding the language, which sparked a desire in me to improve my English. On the other hand, Leo recently traveled to China and managed well with the language, but he is also interested in further improving his linguistic skills.

We are excited to engage in projects where we can have constant exposure to the English language and interact with hosts who can assist us on this language learning journey. We value the opportunity to learn from native speakers, practice the language daily, and develop confident and fluent fluency.

We are confident that improving our English proficiency will be a valuable investment in our future, allowing us to communicate effectively and expand our personal and professional opportunities. We are open to any type of assistance, from casual conversations to specific language learning activities. We are ready to embark on this linguistic journey with enthusiasm and determination.

In addition to all of our skills and interests, it is important to highlight that Leo and I have been together for 6 years and we can't wait to embark on this adventure around the world together. Our journey began in the south of Brazil, a welcoming region that we call home. It is a place where we find peace and tranquility, surrounded by lush nature.

We love being in touch with nature and enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, walking, and camping. We value the natural beauty and serenity that nature provides. However, we also enjoy immersing ourselves in the energy and excitement of big cities, exploring their cultural attractions, going on city tours, and even indulging in a day of shopping at the mall.

We are always interested in discovering new cuisines and trying traditional dishes from different regions. We believe that food is an expression of culture, and we love venturing into the flavors and aromas of the world. We are excited to experience authentic dishes and learn unique culinary techniques during our travels through Workaway.

This diversity of experiences, from the tranquility of nature to the vibrancy of big cities, allows us to appreciate different aspects of life and enrich our journey. We are thrilled to share special moments, meet inspiring people, and create lasting memories throughout this exciting adventure
