I would say I love being out of my comfort zone but sometimes I think the uncomfortable is my comfort zone! I love traveling though I have not made it out of the country yet. I love our national parks and lived in Yellowstone a few years back. Road tripping and bicycle touring have helped me embrace minimalism and gauge most items with how practical they are, hahaha! I am fairly adaptable and can almost always find the silver lining in nay given situation. While not seeking one, I don't mind a leadership position when a problem arises! I think teaching is a strong suit of mine. I was never very good in school and much too shy to ask questions so my grades and self esteem suffered. Once I left town for the first time and discovered I can shine in the real world and accomplish difficult tasks at my own pace, I had a new sense of confidence about life. I have immense patience and empathy when teaching because I know I excelled when I had support behind me and there's no better feeling than seeing it 'click' for someone else!
I continue to learn the things that make me truly happy. I have found that I've always taken pride in a sense of purpose within a community, whether that community is a family setting, a friend get together, or a public environment. I know some of the smallest of tasks can still be some of the most meaningful of contributions! I love being given a task that plays to my strengths but I equally love being taught a new skill. I am motivated by the idea of creating a better world for us and the future and eventually teaching everyone I know how, even in small ways, they could do the same!

I've been in restaurant management for the last decade. I love the fast paced environment and the multi-tasking it takes to get the job done. I've never had an issue starting from the bottom and working my way up to my desired position. I think that it's important to understand each piece of an operation to better manage all moving parts! I love the people I get to meet and being a reliable leader to my team. I'm no stranger to stress, conflict resolution, and long days on my feet. I love keeping my team enthusiastic about the job and making sure everyone is knowledgeable and set up for success every day! My occupation easily translates into day to day competence. I have a desire to learn and a desire to teach. My sense of community (being part of a team) is strong and I think most people feel better when they are contributing to something bigger(:

Was noch ...

I love word games and trivia! My family and I play a lot of Rummikub and Bananagrams. I'm very close with my family and love the chaos of a full house! My mom and I are always working on a new craft, I'd call it a hobby if we ever stuck with one! Lol! I'm currently trying my hand with Epoxy resin while I'm home making some jewelry, cups, trays, ect. I am also really interested in holistic living. I don't practice it as much as I used to or would like to but I continue to learn better ways to live! I am a big believer in energy and how important intention and optimism is!
