Beschreibung

My first name is Marie-Pierre, I work as a law and economics teacher in a french Lycee close to Paris. Two years ago, i decided to change life to become a painter (all sort of painting, wall, canvas, artistic..) And I'm so interested to learn about artistic technics all around the world. I'm fond of preservation of heritage. This last years, I participated in 2 renovations of old building (a house of beginning 19ème century) and church, We did the work renovation using traditionnal ways (most of the time mortar and lime paint). And I appreciate to give a new life for the old furniture (included relooking).

I used to travel, visiting new places and culture. I appreciate discovering people, different cultures, sharing their daily life, their dreams. I have had 2 very good experiences as a volunter as a workawayer. The first time in a bayou of Louisiana USA. I joigned a great group of volunteers (from Quebec, Belgian, France and Haiti) in charge of a project of preservation of cajun culture (in the bayou). A fantastic human experience during 5 weeks.

The second experience was in Malaysia for a month. I joined a very nice family, taking care an adorable little girl of 8 months and doing gardening. Another extraordinary experience ! Thanks to the family which let me sharing the life of their community in the malay jungle !

I'm planning leaving soon to a new destination : Japan. I don't now exactly were, probably around Kyoto or another place. Anyway, the most important is sharing time with nice people and learn about japanese values and traditions.

I like gardening (fond of permaculture), painting, swimming, animal care, travelling and all about guests relations and information, and organisation of events. Healthy cook is important for us. I grown up in the restaurant of my parents. I hope to have the opportunity to discover and learn differents ways of cooking. It is not just a matter of feeding but to share daily life of people is a real way to connect and understanding people.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I can cook, gardening (permaculture), teach french, and I have growned up in the hotel restaurant of my parents. I used to take care about clients/cutomers, I'm fond about learning new way of cooking and testing new product, new recepies and differents tastes and flavours ! I want learn about different cultures of the worl, their way of life and for 2 years, I'm specially interested in arts : all sort of painting et drawing (decoration of wall, paint on canvas, glass, gold...
