Hello!
Thank you so much for reading my profile :)

My name is Mai Uemura. I'm from Japan and 24 years old.
I graduated from University last year and my major was Animal Science.
I was in the laboratory of “Human-Animal Interaction and Reciprocity” and researched about humans-dogs interactions.
When I was one year old, I started to live with a lovely Golden Retriever and he made me animal lover.
Since then, I became interested in animal behavior and animal welfare.
6years ago I adopted a dog from shelter and I'm living with her and my family.

Currently, I'm studying about dog training to get the international certificate (named CPDT-KA) and working at a dog hotel in Japan.
I've been to Sweden, Australia and Scotland to see the situation of dog welfare and took part in the volunteer in RSPCA (big animal shelter) in Australia.
My dream is to be a house dog trainer and improve dog welfare in the world.

I have a lot of hobbies , for example, traveling around the world, hiking, listening to music, taking photos and going to Disneyland!
I am kind of outdoor person, and when I have free time, I usually hang out with my friend ;)
