I'm arriving in Seoul on Mar 3 and will be in Seoul for 3 weeks of language school. Then, hoping to help with other volunteers doing outdoor work and learning about korean life!
Beschreibung
I am a high school graduate taking a gap year to travel and volunteer abroad before starting college in the US. I love team sports, specifically basketball and volleyball, and enjoy drawing and oil painting. I work with children as a coach for girls basketball and volleyball, young classroom teacher, and camp counselor. I love baking for my friends and I think there is always a time and a place to enjoy any kind of music. I enjoy hiking and outdoor adventures, especially by the water!

Was könntest du arbeiten?
I am an artist and athlete, two passions which have helped me develop design and planning skills, a strong work ethic, and collaboration abilities. I don't have specific building/farming experience but I do not shy away from hard tasks. I like to clean and organize messy spaces, create things, and problem solve, and I have always enjoyed hands on work.
This past summer I completed the Tour du Mont Blanc hike and enjoyed sledding down patches of snow each day on my make-shift sled (my rain jacket). I've grown up camping and exploring US national parks with my parents, and now paddle-boarding on lakes and camping in the woods is one of my favorite annual pastimes.
I have participated and organized my basketball teams participation in food distribution events at local food banks.
My love of working with kids has manifested in many professional contexts; I coach middle school girls club basketball and freshman volleyball, and I have also co-taught a kindergarten class at a local elementary school and worked at camps during my summers.
