Hello! We are an Australian couple who have been travelling around Europe for most of this year. Our travels are about to come to a close and we would love to conclude them with a wholesome experience helping in communities or with a smaller business.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I (Lily) am a paediatric registered nurse and Dean is a geotechnical engineer. Although our career avenues are each very different from the other, our skills both share foundations of organisation, effective team work and perseverance.

My (Lily's) career as a children's nurse has made me compassionate and patient with people of all ages. I would love to find work that involves children as this is where my passions lie. Nursing has taught me to serve people and tasks to the best of my ability; where I work in a field where these isn't room for tasks to be completed by the faint-hearted. Above all, I think life is best spent having fun; and I try to live my life by this philosophy.

I (dean) am a very open and accepting person. I have been working as an Engineer in Australia for 3 years and I have been travelling around the world since May 2023. I like learning new skills as well as teaching and sharing my own. I have a background in teaching kids swimming and water safety as I served as a lifeguard for many years. I believe life is best seen with a positive attitude. I am also very interested in music (especially traditional music from different cultures) and love to teach, play and share this with the people around me.

Although we only speak English, we are very interested in languages from all around the world, in particular French and Arabic. We are eager to use our time in Morocco to learn more about language and immerse ourselves in culture. We both agree that the peak of travel is learning about cultural norms and different ways of life; as well as the amazing people that you meet along the way when searching for these experiences.

Was noch ...

I (Lily) love to sew, read books, exercise and spend time with my friends, family and new people I meet along the way.
I (Dean) love to make music, play the bass guitar, exercise, play basketball and also make connections with friends, new and old.
We both visited Morocco together in 2019 and out of all of the countries we have visited, we agree that Morocco is the one that we hope to visit again. We are grateful for all of the reasons we have to go back to Morocco and hope to continue to learn about the various cultures it is home to.
