Beschreibung

Hi there!

Our names are Laila and Laura, a german and brazilian girl, 19 and 18 years old, who just met in New Zealand and are looking forward to get in touch with the Kiwis!
We are both outdoorsy people, who enjoy any kind of sport, a good conversation and being surrounded by animals, children or in general people. As we just met here we know how important and precious it is to have an cultural exchange and learning from each other!
We are both here on a working holiday visa and therefore would like to spend some time getting to know the Kiwi lifestyle as well as any new subject, which people are eager to teach us.
Laila would describe herself as a very energetic, openminded and lively person, who is interested in a wide range of activities including sports such as bike and horse riding, surfing or even reading a good book.
Laura would describe herself as a proactive, patient and caring with an open mind and heart to learn and absorb knowledge in every area, such as outside activities, animal related, etc. all using a lot of creativity and love.
We both strive for a life full of laughter, people, who inspire us and otherwise and the chance to get to know the world in its purest form. Wishing you all the best :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Laila:
First of all l am a keen learner and I don't shut down challenges :)
I've worked in a restaurant for three years, therefore l acquired experiences in serving, planning and organising. Through a wide variety of internships I gained a broad insight in different job fields and I am curious to extend these understandings. Alongside school I've babysat very much in my neighbourhood and helped my schoolmates or other children with their home- and schoolwork. I do not only enjoy helping families and children, but also helping my mother in our garden and cultivating it a little bit more fills my heart with joy. I've also always taken care of pets or other animals such as horses- I am a rider as well. Since I can think I wanted to listen to horses and getting to know and understand them better.
If needed and wanted I would love to teach my native language German and learn another language or improve my English in exchange.
All together I am interested in gardening, sustainability, riding, horsemanship, sailing, other languages and of course any other area of activity.

Laura: Alongside with Highschool I did an extra degree, in a period of three years, in Environment Control and was always very involved with nature and being outdoors. I have worked in a pathology laboratory for a year as an Administrative Assistant which thought me a lot on dealing with different kinds of issues and organising. Did many freelances in hospitality giving me experience in that area. I’m a very creative person who loves photography and design, and many other ways to express through art. Was a scout for 5 years and love being in contact with the sea and land either sailing, swimming or camping and gardening. Doing everything with much love, energy and respect.
