Hi, ciao! I'm Laura :)
I come from Sardinia, Italy, but spent 8 years in Bologna, volunteering at a major film festival and studying film studies.
I worked in a bookshop, but I'm now taking a break to travel, learn languages, meet people from around the world, and pursue copyediting, proofreading and translating (I love writing and reading).
I also have experience in restaurants and hospitality.
I'm always trying to improve my language skills (English, French, German, Icelandic, Spanish) and open to teaching Italian anytime.
I read tons of books, watch loads of films, and love chatting about them.
I'm also learning photography and looking for tips 📷
Oh, I can also cook pretty well!

I'm enthusiastic about learning and taking part in all kinds of projects, I'd love to learn new skills and I like spending time with people.
I can teach italian, also to children.
I'm experienced in hospitality (I worked in restaurants and hotels in the past).
I'm enthusiastic about anything book related, I worked in a bookshop, I'm good at writing.
I also love cats and all animals, plants and nature.
I can cook quite well and I can teach you if you want :)
I'm looking for an experience where I can develop a connection and friendship with my hosts and other workawayers, and learn about their languages and cultures.
I also enjoy some quiet time (to read, go walking...). -
