I really enjoy being out and about in nature, especially through hiking and climbing. I am been climbing indoors for a few years but climbing outdoors is always a magical experience.
As a nature enthusiast, I try to tread as gently on this Earth as possible. I hope to learn how to live off the land more and reduce my footprint.
I also creating something with my own hands. This includes cooking - I love being able to cook with others. I also created a number of practical wood pieces, which are now scattered around at home.
I also enjoy travelling, as I get to learn about different cultures and listening to the stories people have to tell. This is why I am so drawn to Workaway - it is a blessing to be able to immerse myself in a different culture, especially as I live in very urban Singapore and would like to experience a different lifestyle.
I am also a tea enthusiast and love trying various kinds of tea and so far, my favourite is green tea :)

I used to teach English to little kids (around 5-6 years) and was a volunteer tutor in Chinese. I am also looking to improve on my Japanese.

Was könntest du arbeiten?
I was a corporate worker but I’m currently on a career break.
- I really enjoy creating things! I used to do some basic woodworking projects when I had access to a workshop. I hope to get better at it.
- I love growing things! I have been growing my own plants, decorative or edible, for a few years now. My pride and joy was my ladyfingers plant - it repeatedly bore fruit in my tiny house. I hope to learn more about gardening and farming.
- I have done a fair amount of teaching. I used to give English tuition to kids for around 3 months and was a volunteer teacher in Chinese for a year.
- I love cooking. I may not be the best but I love trying new things and sharing the cooking experience with many others.
- I love learning and trying new things! Am seeking out new experiences and am a quick learner with an open mind. Right now I am very keen to learn more about living on a farm or in more rural areas.
- I don’t shy away from hard and physical work! I regularly do chores and try to fix my things at home. I always give my all.
- I speak Japanese! I studied the language for two years (but two years ago so am a little rusty…)

Was noch ...
I hope to share experiences and hobbies with my hosts and learn new things :) I also hope to spend more time in nature and animals. I absolutely love animals and I used to take care of my community cats by feeding them and checking on them.
