Hi! My name is Karla, I’m 19 years old and from northern Germany by the Baltic Sea. Last summer, I graduated from high school (Abitur, equivalent to a high school diploma), and I’m currently in a gap period between school and university. During this time, I want to explore new things and gain valuable experiences.
I’m a very empathetic, caring, and down-to-earth person who loves animals and values community deeply. I grew up in a big family, and spending time with my loved ones has always been important to me. I also adore children and enjoy every moment with my niece and nephew or babysitting in general.

Growing up, we had dogs, sheep, chickens, cats, and I also spent time horseback riding. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I’m happiest when I can spend time with them.

I’m also a very active person who enjoys spending time in nature and staying on the move. I love exploring the outdoors, and playing sports. I play volleyball and do strength training, so I’m able to handle tasks that require strength or endurance. I’m happy to lend a hand wherever needed.

One of my biggest motivations is to connect with people and learn about different cultures. I’m curious and open to new experiences, whether it’s helping with daily tasks, learning a new skill, or getting to know a new way of life.

At the same time, I’m an introverted person who sometimes needs time to fully open up. I don’t always need a lot of talking or activity to feel comfortable and enjoy the moment, and I hope to find hosts who understand and appreciate that balance.

I bring a variety of skills, experience, and enthusiasm to the table, and I’m eager to help wherever I can!

Taking care of animals is something I truly love. It makes me happy to know they are well looked after, and I enjoy everything that comes with it—feeding, cleaning, and simply spending time with them.

At home, I help a lot in the household, whether it’s tidying up, collecting firewood, or keeping things organized. I also support my family whenever I can. I spend a lot of time with my niece and nephew, helping my brothers and sisters-in-law, and I assist my grandparents with tasks they can’t do alone. I like being there for others and stepping in where I’m needed.

I also really enjoy cooking, especially plant-based meals. Whether preparing food, trying out new recipes, or sharing some myself.

I’m reliable, hardworking, and adaptable. While I’m an introverted person who also values quiet moments, I enjoy working in a team and learning new things.

If you’re looking for someone who is hands-on, caring, and happy to help with animals, children, household tasks, cooking, or outdoor work, I’d love to be part of your project!
