Hello! I am a young adult who loves to take on new adventures and challenges. I love to travel and explore different cultures which is why I think Workaway is the perfect opportunity for me! I love being around children and caring for them. I've had many work and volunteer experiences that have helped me develop my capability of caring for children. I love to plan activities and be involved. I've already lived with 2 families during my studies here in Canada and I adored the experience. Being around a happy family with children makes me happy!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I lived in a family home for 1 year (last year) and I really enjoyed staying there. It was a family of 3, the parents and a 7-year-old girl. I was helping around the house but mostly taking care of the child! I would help her with her homework, play outside, help her learn how to ride her bike, do her hair, organize crafts, etc. I loved to organize activities and be a part of them with her! It's really something that I enjoy doing. This experience really showed me how to be a great help to busy parents. I understand that life is very busy sometimes and a little help with the kids can go a long way!

Also, I recently completed an internship in a different city and I stayed with another family during this time (5 months). It was another awesome experience but this time it was with a single mother and two boys (7 and 9 years old). I also enjoyed being with the kids because they loved to play sports outside and swim in the pool which is activities that I love doing. I'm always very active and I like that I can be active with the kids! During my time with this family, the kids really enjoyed it when I babysat them because we always had a little something planned!

Both of these experiences and many more work experiences such as teaching, babysitting and tutoring, allowed me to develop many important skills that are essential in a family life! Since I was a young girl, I've always said that I wanted a big family with 6 kids of my own :) so I would love the opportunity to be around families and help in any way that I can!

I love to be active and participate in sports/activities. I spend a lot of time outside during my free time and I love to go running! I also enjoy relaxing and reading a good book.
