My name is Kamille, I am 19 years old, and I come from Denmark. I have just finished high school, and now that I stand on one own's feed, I need to figure out how I want to spend my time. I have a burning desire to explore the world. I am down-to-earth but curious to experiencing new things and meeting new people. At the same time, I also value time alone—I enjoy getting lost in a good book, go for a long walk, or spending hours in the kitchen cooking delicious meals.

Through Workaway, I hope to meet new people who can inspire me and help me grow. I also hope to bring joy to others and meet the expectations they have for my stay with them. I consider myself to be responsible and strive to do my tasks thoroughly. Additionally, I strongly desire to improve my English and become more comfortable with the language. I hope to achieve this with the help of my future host.

I find speaking English a bit challenging, but I REALLY want to improve. I hope this doesn’t make me any less attractive as a guest ❤️❤️ Also I have studied German at a basic level in school and found it very interesting. Therefore, I would love to learn even more German.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

For many years, I have volunteered as a gymnastics coach. I have found great joy in teaching others and contributing to a positive community and training environment. In connection with this, I spent a year at an "efterskole," which is a significant part of Danish cultural heritage. An "efterskole" is a school where you live with other young people. You spend less time on academics and more time pursuing hobbies and learning what it means to be part of a community. This year gave me memories, friendships, and lessons for life.
In my day-to-day life, I work at a supermarket where I am responsible for closing. This role requires being responsible and contributing to a positive work environment. As mentioned earlier, I like to do my tasks thoroughly, whether it’s schoolwork, my job, or anything else. The same applies, of course, to the tasks my hosts assign me.

I enjoy being active: going for walks or runs, doing yoga, jumping on a trampoline, and similar activities.
I am always ready for a board game, but I do admit that I can get quite frustrated if I lose:(((((haha
