My biggest motivator is the outdoors. I love nature and spending time outside. I am a big plant lover. Nevertheless I also love being social, getting to know new people and exchanging culture and knowledge. I love to learn new skills and just to have a fun time with people. I am always up for an adventure. I also love sports at the moment I focus on climbing. hiking and beach volleyball.

Was könntest du arbeiten?
I have just finished a bachelor in environmental and forest management at the university of Aberdeen in Scotland. I learned a lot about the functioning of ecosystems, forest management and how society interacts with the environment. I also participated in a few volunteering restoration projects to diversify fauna and flora around Luxembourg and Scotland.

I am good at manual tasks of all sorts, I am resilient, I learn quickly and I do not shy work. During my travels I've learned how to plant trees, weave willow or palm fences, fix water leaks or replace hoses, composting, building paths, fixing fences, maintain vegetable gardens, sorting olives,... and by now I would consider myself an expert in weeding haha. Otherwise, I work as a substitute teacher in primary schools and I like teaching children and exchanging knowledge.

Julie is a great volunteer, smart, dedicated, strong and super positive. She's also a great person to have around and hang with. She was a big help in the project and I really hope to see her again soon. Thank you Julie!

I stayed at Eko's place for two weeks in November and I had a lovely time. I learned a lot about syntropic agroforestry approaches and about edible plants that were growing around his property. This was my first workaway experience and it was very fun and interesting. I learned a lot from Luisa and Poohjiari. They are very welcoming people an dedicated to their healing earth project.
