My name is Jio Kim from korea, and I’m going to Australia on a working holiday. I really enjoy meeting new people and would love to experience the Australian lifestyle ! I’m detail-oriented and always do my best in everything I take on.

I'm motivated by meaningful connections with people and learning through real-life experiences. I find joy in sharing stories, working with my hands, and contributing to something greater than myself.

Helping others, being surrounded by nature, and trying things I’ve never done before really make me feel alive. I believe that every small exchange of kindness and curiosity can make a big difference in the world — and that’s what I love about Workaway.

I’m especially happy when I can learn from people who have different perspectives, whether it’s through gardening, cooking, taking care of animals, or just having coffee together and sharing thoughts. :)

Yes, I’m very interested in learning languages — especially English. I love practicing through real conversations and learning how people naturally speak in everyday life. That’s one of the reasons I’m excited about Workaway! I’d be happy to help others who are learning Korean, as it’s my native language. I enjoy sharing Korean culture and helping with casual conversation, writing, or basic grammar. I can also teach a little bit of Japanese, especially simple words and phrases for beginners. I’m still learning myself, but I’d love to exchange what I know and learn together!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I currently live on my own, so I’m used to doing all kinds of housework and keeping my space clean and organized. I enjoy maintaining a tidy and cozy environment and take pride in being a reliable and responsible person when it comes to daily tasks.

I also love spending time with children. I often take care of my nieces and nephews — playing with them, reading together, and helping them with meals or routines. I find joy in connecting with kids and making them feel safe and comfortable.

I went to a school where we learned about farming and agriculture, so I have hands-on experience with farm work and feel very comfortable working outdoors and being close to nature.

I also love animals and enjoy spending time with them and taking care of them. I've been working in photography for a long time, so I can also be helpful in artistic or creative areas.

I’m always excited to learn something new. Whether it’s a new skill, a different way of living, or a local tradition, I’m open-minded and enthusiastic. I believe that every experience is an opportunity to grow, and I’m always ready to jump in and try my best.

In my free time, I enjoy taking photos, especially of people and nature. Photography helps me connect with the world in a deeper way. I also like listening to music, cooking simple meals, and spending quiet time reading or walking.
