Hello, I'm Jim! I am taking a break from full time work to travel, and am so excited to see new beautiful places and learn as much as I can. I am a huge nature lover, having grown up on a farm in Scotland, and I also studied marine and freshwater biology at university, so I am passionate about all things lakes, rivers and oceans.

I am very adaptable and would love the opportunity to help out and learn more about other countries and different ways of life. My hobbies include hiking, canoeing, dog walking, playing guitar, swimming, and loads more!

I am very hardworking and adaptable. Having grown up on a farm and worked outside a lot, I'm not afraid to get stuck in and do whatever is needed. Working with animals and plants is very enjoyable for me, but I am also happy to help with whatever tasks are needed.

At university I studied marine and freshwater biology, and then a masters in sustainable aquaculture. Both of these experiences highlighted to me even more the importance of the natural world and sustainability, and additionally have helped me sharpen my organizational and time management skills.
