Illustrator, Yoga teacher and aspiring organic gardener looking for opportunities to work and connect in more meaningful ways.

I have just left my flat in Glasgow, where I have lived for the past 4 years, put my stuff into storage and am currently looking for opportunities to explore different ways of living.

I have many skills I'd love to share. I play the cello, sing and have a degree in music. I have a masters degree in illustration and love writing (and hearing) stories. I am a qualified yoga teacher with trainings in seasonal Yoga (including elements of qigong), Yin Yoga and Meditation. I love teaching yoga and am very happy to lead classes at a workaway placement if desired.

I have plenty of experience with organic growing and am generally quite hardy, strong and practical. I can chop firewood, lift wheelbarrows full of soil and use a screwdiver! I am also a decent cook and good with children.

Before living in Glasgow, I lived on an organic farm in Poland for 4 years with my German grandmother, running creative artists retreats and growing organic food. I have also spent many happy summers working on farms as a student (through WOOF and work away). Connecting meaningfully with the land is something close to my heart and I am happiest when I am outside, working in this way.

I am old enough to have gained plenty of work experience in more classically 'professional' sectors also; admin, project management, events organisation, content writing, social media and marketing, volunteer co-ordination etc. and have good organisational and communication skills.

I have travelled a lot in my life, but somehow this step into the unknown, at a stage in my life which feels more conducive to settling down, feels very scary, but I am also very excited for this opportunity to explore more of what the world has to offer.

After 4 years in a cold, rainy and grey city, working largely in offices, I am desperate for some time with the sun on my face and my feet in the soil. Also craving opportunities to swim in the sea/lakes.

Was noch ...

I enjoy writing, drawing, singing, playing music, reading, dancing, travel, yoga and, recently, playing football (I am a very enthusiastic beginner!)

I love being outside and most outdoor activities. I get great joy from swimming in lakes and seas and would love to learn to surf one day (I've tried a couple of times but am very bad!). I can horse ride (learnt as a child ) and would love more opportunities to try/practise this as an adult.
