Howdy! I'm Jaycee, 22 from California. I just graduated from UC Santa Barbara and I'm not sure what I want to do with my life yet or where so it's the perfect time to travel! I'm looking to connect with new people and place and learn, share, and develop new skills. Travelling is inspiring for me because it allows me to see how different people live and how large and diverse and full of possibilities the world is, while also reminding me how close and deeply connected we all are and I think workaway is the perfect medium for that! What brings me the most joy is connecting with nature and I like reading, surfing, hiking, doing yoga and gardening!

In California I worked on a mushroom farm and a organic vegetable farm so farming, especially sustainable and regenerative farming, is definitely one of my big interests and skill sets, but I would love to learn a lot more about it through more experience. I also keep my own garden at home. Additionally, I work as a
"Restoration field technician" in California, which is kind of like a fancy word for landscaper, so I have some landscaping/restoration skills I can provide and would love to hone in. This includes, weeding, planting, tree removal, installing fences and small structures. I've done cleaning/hospitality work trades at a yoga studio in Santa Barbara and a surf hostel in Taiwan so I have some cleaning skills. Additionally, I love to cook for myself and friends so I can help cook for small crowds.
